Stanage Pole

Photo Information
Stanage Pole is a landmark on Hallam Moors close to Stanage Edge on the Sheffield / Peak District Border.
A pole has existed on the site since at least 1550 and is a way marker on a medieval packhorse road known as the Long Causeway or Long Causey which runs west from Sheffield.

I like this one Drew, in fact I prefer it to the ones on the Forum as the light seems more balanced.
