Floodlit Five

Sheffield station is very brightly lit nowadays, but perhaps not quite enough to go hand-held. I used f5.6 @ 1s with my K10D + 16-45 at ISO 400 (and Jessops TP323 tripod!).
I also did a little PS tweak to lighten shadows, darken highlights and unsharp mask.
Now what could you do with a K5?

It was a rare opportunity to shoot a steam locomotive at night, which I enjoyed mainly for the softening effects on the smoke with a long exposure time.
I took several identical shots where the focussing was sometimes not as good as this. However it shows you can get good results with the 16-45 at least down to f5.6.
