Stampeding Sheep

by pgweber

Inspired by Katie W's picture yesterday, I present what passes for a traffic jam in Wensleydale.

En-route between Aysgarth Falls & Hawes, my sister and I were met with this sight. Some of the sheep look terrified, don't you think?

A snatched shot using K10D/18-55 as a jpeg.

p.s. I was passenger, not driver!

p.p.s I was photographer.

Glad to be the first to comment based on your reference, Peter. Hee hee, this is a familiar sight! Definitely a look of urgency on some the faces. Great capture.

You were shouting 'mint sauce' at them from your open car window that's why they look terrified. Good picture,

It seems that it's a very courageous and educated flock! Nice picture!

I am not sure which one was Shaun and when we got to the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes, we did indeed sample some "Cracking Cheese".

I thought of showing this a few weeks ago but didn't think it very good technically. But it does record an amusing scene and as I have said elsewhere, "it's all about capturing a moment".

Keep those cameras at the ready, fellow Pentaxians!

Peter
