Tractor shed

The old tractor shed. Tricky exposure, Bright light and dark shadow. I've tinkered with it, though. Scanned from a 6"x 4"print.

You're dead right about the tricky exposure. I think you would have been better to take a pace or 2 to the left & frame right concentrating on the contents of the shed as this compromise is tonally very flat. The alternative might be to try an HDR technique.

Have to agree with you there, Ian. I'd love to revisit this scene and try again, however it's now a massive open cut coal mine. Still, it's amazing how new life can be brought into an old image with some modern tech - (scanners and editing software).
