Like this a lot. Yum. Dappled light seems to please everyone. Anyone care to provide reasons for that???

This is lovely, Andy.
Reminiscent of very carefully arranged (Dutch?) still life paintings or Gary Hicken's images here,
it's the chiaroscuro lighting that does it for me.........!

Where was this & the cave image, please?

Glad you appreciate it. You are right - a Gary Hicken style of lighting! The setting was by a cliff edge by the beach, and the shade comes from a certain type of prolific tree (whose name I can't remember), but they somehow get really rooted into rock and cliffs and hang right out over the edge of the cliff!

The two images are a little way from Wiltshire; Hahei on the North Island of New Zealand! (We have a daughter who has gone to live there - otherwise we would probably never have gone that far!)
