Not a common sight

by George Lazarette

The night before the barge parade that I mentioned earlier, I was moored near Tower Bridge. All afternoon onlookers were treated to the sight of square riggers passing through the bridge. (Car drivers must have been cursing.) Unfortunately the water is usually very choppy there, and most of my shots were blurred. Also, the light was poor. This was the best of a bad bunch.

A beautiful sight, as Giulio rightly says.

The light may have been poor George but you got the best out of it. This is a dramatic image.
