Lonesome Llandudno

Photo Information
Evening brought a quiet to the pier of Llandudno, with the stalls shut up and the mini dodgems put away for the night.

Thought it lent itself to b&w, starting from a jpg shot with K10D/18-55.

Peter, it's a great subject which B&W suits well.
Good use of leading lines & repeating elements however those leading lines do lead us directly to that bright, dead sky which was always going to be a challenge.
Regards, Ian.

Thank you Ian, for your comments.

Perhaps it wasn't the best shot to send, given your pertinent observation.

I did lighten the shot on purpose because the ground was very dark and was looking at the effect on the stalls but forgot to follow the composition and check the effect on the sky.

Note to self: remember to look at the whole picture!

Regards
Peter
