Coastal Path
by Ellida
The Cumbrian Coastal Path actually starts in Lancashire (Silverdale to be precise) and wends its mainly Cumbrian way through Grange-over-sands, Barrow and Ravenglass before passing St Bees Head, the start of the famous Wainwright Coast to Coast trail.
This shot was taken just north of St Bees near a village called Sandwith (pronounced Sanurth). It was a cold walk and I had to weight the tripod down with rocks because of the brisk SE wind.
