Magnificent on its own - the obliging bird completes it perfectly.

A worthy POTW. In addition to the obvious drama of the scene as a whole two small details bring an added bonus: the already mentioned cormorant and the sheet of water cascading from the end of the pier.

For a very high wow factor... I personally know how hard it can be to get images like this.

Thanks for all of the above comments, I’ve really enjoyed working on this project and printing out the images, we all know prints always make image making worthwhile and these are no exception.
