Morning mist

by Stu-D

I drive past the field every day - its about 1/2 a mile from home. There is nothing very interesting about the field apart from the sun rises the other side of it.

Its a shame the farmer didn't plough the tramlines to line up with the sunrise though (and taking it at a different time of year wont work either)

One raw file, processed twice and recombined.

I guess the moral of this tale is, don't ignore what is "on your doorstep".

The right time and the right light....who knows?

That's wonderful, like the way that you've tweaked it. The mist looks like the eye sees it, yet the field is surreal looking. Works for me!

Good lighting, love the mist giving the image a soft feel and hint of mystery! Feedback wise I would have moved further in and over to the right in order to make more use of the lines in terms of leading the viewer in, but without being there, I guess it may not have been possible?

Excellent shot, and lovely light. Possibly crop a little of the foreground?
