Sculptura

by sugatabanerji

American artist Daniel A. Henderson has created a body of work to explore the viral allure of technology and its unintended consequences. His work was on display at NJIT when I was in grad school there. His work mostly features giant replicas of real gadgets, made with stone and metal. This model of a real telephone model is called "Sculptura".
This is not a posed shot. I had to wait for a student with a cellphone to walk by.

Very clever idea
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
