This has impact - maybe bad weather, but the stormy skies add to it!

I am now itching all over...
I spent an hour on a sunny day [ rare] photographing... [or trying to]... a Red-Throated Diver on Loch Maree...
it wasn't until I looked in the mirror later, that I realised the backs of my hands and my face, around the eyes, were scarlet!
I had sealed myself into my rainwear to avoid those damned midges... but not well enough!!
Great shot... brings it all back!!
Never be afraid to talk about your techniques...

the same camera, lens and scene...
and you'll always get a thousand different takes!!"
