Photo Information
K5, DA*55, f1.4, 1/60th, ISO800

This is a look I very much like - shallow DOF and close to the subject.
This shot is my first attempt at using the 'Brenizer' method to achieve the look. About 12 shots taken last night were then stitched together in PS.
If anything it shows how good the DA*55 is - this was shot wide open - and how well the K5 controls noise at ISO 800.

What do you think?

I also am increasingly drawn to narrow dof shots and this is a goodexample.
Best wishes,

Having googled the "Brenizer" method, not having a clue what it was , I would say you have succeeded admirably in your technique, you have really accentuated the shallow DOF. BTW I love the shot as well

Wonderful Andy.
Like Sandinista I had never heard of this technique but I will definitely give it a go now!
