However, it is rather the colour that attracts the eye and the kind of pastel look, and therefore not being so sharp might suit that look as well. Mine was the first consideration.

I think the colours and light are spot on, you could maybe try stopping down a bit, f/5 or 6, this could possibly give a bit more sharpness.
