Scarborough Steamer

by pgweber

On 21st July 2007, Ex LMS No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' took a day trip from Mill Hill (on the northern outskirts of London) to Scarborough.

The train was named 'The Scarborough Flyer' and is pictured approaching the closed Rotherham Masborough station in South Yorkshire.

Rotherham United's former Millmoor football ground is just out of shot to the left.

Taken as a PEF using K10D/18-55.

Thanks Les,

I think I must have one leg longer than the other, because this one like my Snowdon shot seems to be a bit tilted.

I could correct this if/when I do the colour version.

Maybe I should buy a K7 instead?

Regards
Peter
