Jeg,

A couple of tips. First, photography is all about light, and natural light is at its best in the early morning and towards evening. It's warmer, less harsh, and often produces interesting shadows.

From the EXIF data, it appears that this WAS taken in the evening, but the day is grey and overcast so the timing hasn't helped.

If you are able to go back and take the picture again on a reasonably sunny evening, you might be surprised at how much more interesting it will look.

The second point is that all pictures benefit from post-processing. You don't need to master Photoshop, even a free program like Irfanview will permit you to crop, and to adjust colour, contrast, exposure, and focus.

Have a play, and see what you can do.

Good luck
