Squall Approaching!!

Squall Approaching!!

Photo Information
I noticed as I took this shot what looked like some heavy rain approaching from the West. About 1 minute later, we had to crouch with backs to what must have been approaching 100mph winds and horizontal hail hitting us like bullets. It lasted about 5 minutes, by which time our legs were stinging and wet through, and Shaun Wilson's camera bag was full of water (guess what - his K-7 still worked)!!

K-5, DA 16-45.

Wonderful landscape and image of impending foul weather. What a way to test a camera.

Hi Nuri - it wasn't misty at all, it was just a sheet of hail approaching at about 100 miles per hour! Where I was standing the hail had not yet hit us.

Nice compo. The lashing of the rain is quite mesmerizing.
