Stand Off View of Royal Ontario Museum's New Facade

by go4IT

The architect, Daniel Liebeskind, wanted the facade to be all glass, but weather conditions and technical difficulties left it looking like this. Not bad, but not as designed.

More like a car crash. BL should have taken technical aspects and climate into consideration from day one, failing in his duty as an architect to his client and the public. But well captured!

In my opinion, the play of reds and blues adds to the composition and lifts it beyond an ordinary architectural photo.

Certainly makes his "point".
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
