Very nice portrait - puts a human face on history too.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I m amazed that this image has been delivered by Pentax K1 FF with Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 APSC lens!
Is this a cropped frame of an original vignetted image (APSC lens on FF sensor) shot in FF mode? Or it is a crop mode shot i.e. 16mp?
All thumbs up

Thank you hmpentaxid and welcome to the gallery. I set the crop mode on the K-1 when I took this. When I bought the K-1, I only had the 100mm Macro lens that was FF, so I carried on using the Tamron 17-50mm some of the time while I saved up and watched for good deals. I now have the 300mm DA* and the 28-105mm too.
Kind regards, Yvonne
