Hi Bill.

Is this the kind of result you were thinking of when you posted your Forum thread about the K5 ?

Looking at the Exif data IMHO I would have expected this to be much sharper and clearer ? To my eyes neither the near nor distance are quite sharp ?

What AF settings did you use ?

However, nice compo !

Best regards
Peter

This is exactly what I meant regarding performance, I locked the focus on to the large rock mass on the left and assumed the aperture would provide a better depth.
The shot was also taken on a tripod

Hi Bill

I really AM puzzled now you add that you used a tripod as well ?

Hopefully some of the more experienced members may have some explanations on seeing this shot ?

Meanwhile, I've uploaded a similar shot I took earlier this year with the K-r and the Cosina 28-210 (which some reviewers called a rubbish lens !) Many of my recent postings were also taken using this lens !

Good luck
Peter
