What an extraordinary place, Nezih. Is that near where folk live in caves? Can't remember the name, but I've long wanted to visit the place.

Thank you both! This is from the same region, towards the south of Konya 40 kms away from town and a higher place by the side of the Konya-Antalya road. Konya is 1050 meters higher that the sea level. Andrew, the place you mention is probably Cappadocia, where the early Christians carved amazing underground cities and churches; and the whole region has so many rock formations resembling those in the picture, but in much larger scale.
