very subtle one, David, .. receding effects are more than surprising, .. pleas let me know stronger contrasted BW version of this, .. will you ? .. thanks

Hi Nuri, thanks as usual for your kind and expert comments. I will have a look at a higher contrast BW version and will post this for you. I like the recession in this version which I have kept quite 'soft', but I think you are right that a strong BW could work too.

Just thought I would add a little more information to this image, prompted by Nuri's observations above. It was not very light when this was shot; hence the F4 aperture. I think the wide aperture has helped with the recession effect on the trees and also it was quite misty at the time.
