The road by the Lake

The narrow road along the East side of Coniston, taken on a rather dull day when the poor light under the trees resulted in an image that was even more dull.
The image was 'brightened up' (to what I remember as more natural) by PP the RAW file firstly in PCU4 and finishing off the converted jpeg in 'another' camera's free software.
My first attempt at experimenting with PCU4 so I'd be grateful for any comments ?
