Carefully-chosen shutter speed does not spoil the natural look of the water falling, as so many other photos do. Like.

I was thinking exactly that just before I read your comment ! This one looks like what it is: water tumbling down a rock face.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thank for your comments. My "carefully chosen shutter speed" was more luck than design I have to admit!
