On an autumn morn

Photo Information
The River Dart near Rill illuminated with autumn morning sunlight

Devon

A delightful place to sit and gaze upon the river and relish the transitional tones of the autumn. So hard to leave.

It reminded me of "the great, grey, green, greasy Limpopo river", though there's no grey or greasy about this one and not a crocodile in sight,
The light is just fantastic.

Really good compo. I love the contrast between the still foreground and the fast moving river.

Thanks very much for your comments I am rather fascinated with transition zones in the landscape, for the juxtaposition of elements, patterns and forces
