One of several taken this morning - it's the time of year again when the stags are getting excited. Unfortunately there wasn't the amazing mist/light combo like like last year, but there were plenty of deer (and a lot of photographers

Thanks technoblurb - I thought the same myself and decided I liked them in for some reason - although I'll have a go with some different crops. I go cycling in the park most weekend mornings (and i always stuff my camera into my backpack
) so have seen the rut a couple of times now - very impressive, and it attracts a huge number of photographers (compared with the normal 'non-rut' Autumn mornings!). It is slightly odd seeing these big stags prowling around with a posse of people with long lenses trailing behind them.
