K 100D Super with Clubman 28mm MF lens. Only levels and minimal sharpening in Photoshop.

It is a mind stopping scene. Makes you want to stop and drink in the atmosphere and stay awhile. You have a good eye for a pic. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I totally agree with Thora. This has the same feel for me as your mudflats, you have a gift for this type of scene.

Thank you both for your very kind comments, folks. Much appreciated. I so love this area of Somerset. I'd like to go to the flat lands of Norfolk one day to see how it compares

Good eye, Andrew.

You feature the old stump without it being a picture of a stump.
Also, I always go nuts trying to eliminate any road surface from my landscapes, rather than lowering my perspective and including a bit.

I never seem to be able to "see" a scene this well.
