Swiss Roll

Inspired by this week "Textures in Close Up" competition I experimented with close-up shots of different things. While I liked this image I did not think it was really a proper texture so have gone with something else. However I felt it was still worth putting up here.

This is a focus stack of 12 images all shot with:

Pentax K-1 with the Samsung equivalent of the DFA100 Macro.
0.4sec, F18 & ISO200.

Shot raw then processed in LR5. The focus stack was assembled using Helicon Focus 6. The image was then resized for the web, but not cropped, in PSE14.
