Abbey Ruins and a Bench - Almost Mono
by davidstorm
This is not a mono conversion, I have selectively de-saturated various colour elements of the image whilst retaining others. I've then done a bit of work with layers to produce the final image.
just sumptuous ! ..David, hope your'e going back there with your wife dressed all black and seating on the middle of bench .. cross fingers you'll have got similar light conditions ..
Thanks Nuri, I will have to ask her! The only problem is the site is now closed and fenced off (all the images I've shot have been from behind the boundary fence). In the Summer months it does not have the same 'atmosphere' and there are too many people around!

Much better than the other version.
After Carl comment, I had another look I agree with him - it would be interesting to see how it looks with the bench in the middle.
Hi Naim, unfortunately I can't move it!!!!!!!!
Cheers, David

Haha - I didn't mean it that way David, only that if you moved a little to the left, the bench will appear towards the middle!
Kind regards.

Thanks Naim, I knew what you meant and you are probably right!
