A Pretty Corner

by davidstorm

There are lots of pretty corners in the Lake District, this is just one of them, at Crummock Water.

I like to use the Pentax-M 28mm for landscape shots as it makes me work harder to find the right compositions without me being able to include all of the scene my eyes see. Also, it's a fantastic lens.

So typical of The Lakes in wet weather, this image captures the atmosphere, tranquillity and beauty of the region so well.

A super landscape, beautifully rendered, David. your eye for a, picture and that camera/lens combination.
Best wishes,

A serious beauty of a shot! I like the way the gate creates a stair step effect leading down the hill and how the rust color plays off of the green grass and then is repeated in the background mount.

It seems that despite the weather you had a great day out!
