This photo is of the interior a fashionable shopping arcade in the seaside resort of Southport in Merseyside UK. I took this photo from the stairs leading out to the street at the back of the arcade - a handy spot for a photograph but with one eye on the possibility of being thrown out by security.
The arcade has been beautifully transformed, in my view, by the Christmas decor.

Thanks, Karlo. It was lateish on a weekday afternoon and the weather was freezing. I guess most of the tourists were keeping warm at home.
