Lovely effect but such a shame about the sword-like leaf which slices through the composition and draws the eye.

Yes, i adjust individual colour channels in curves to get this effect. It reminds of a Tim Burton movie

Ahh now that you mention it, i see what you mean. Maybe ill go back again and shoot a different angle hehe. it was a quick snapshot really

Like how you have processed this, lovely picture,i always take a pair of scissors with me, they come in very handy at times.

ahh good idea! but the flowers were actually 6+ feet off the ground! heres a google image of the flowers location
