Before the storm
by Davidoff
I took the shot of the cloud in a hurry from the back of my hotel in Johannesburg while returning to my room. The sun emerged from another cloud briefly, and just long enough to highlight this cloud. But I had no time to choose my location and a dismal block of flats occupied the foreground, until I covered it with this woman. Some of the building protruded, but some nifty painting with the clone tool removed the unwanted bits and this is the result. BTW, the original cloud pic was taken with my Pentax ME Super, which is film of course. The cloud image then, is derived from a scan of a print.
