Stripes

Photo Information
Coloured rocks in the sunshine on the Cow and Calf Ilkley. Think the colours are due to the minerals in the soil being washed down in the rain, but what do I know.

Isn't nature a wonderful phenomena? Mind you, stripey colourisation reminds me of a pair of loons [hipster/bellbottom trousers if your a young 'un and have a different meaning for loons] I had in the late 60s early 70s. The photograph has done this lovely bit of natural nature justice. Lovely balance in the tones and well framed.

I certainly prefer nature's graffiti to anything out of a can.

Well done.

Thanks for the comments guys. Much appreciated. I only had black loons, no sense of style, even in those days.
