Nice flower but yes the flowers appear to be out of focus, especially when viewed large. On viewing large, perhaps the front spine of the stalk near the lower portion is in focus. If the camera was on auto focus it may have averaged between the front petals and the intersection of the rear walls. Have another go before it 'goes over', I suggest that you use a much smaller aperture say f/16 or even f/22, the flower isn't moving and you probably had the camera tripod mounted, so you can afford the resultant longer exposure, I also suggest that you manually focus on the stamens, if you hadn't already. Still a nice flower though, one of natures engineering marvels.

You know what, here they call amaryllis Konya Lily. I got the same problem with manual focusing.

If the basic image is out of focus I don't think that different processing software is going to correct that.

I can remember when processing 'Ferrania Colour' reversal film years, ago, that the reds always appeared to be physically forward of the greens. I am no scientist, just a mere Engineer but perhaps the difference between the wavelengths of red and green parts of the spectrum contributes to the problem.

Maybe another approach: temporarily place or rest a piece of white crisp tissue paper, feather, cotton, or similar non damaging material with a hard edge across one of the inner petals at mid floret position, with respect to the lens longitudinal axis direction. Manually focus on an edge of that white material, manually lock the focus, if necessary. Select the smallest aperture possible for maximum field depth. Remove the focus target material and take the shot. Carefully remove the memory card without disturbing the camera and slide the card into your computer to check the result. As they say, If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try again!

I had another thought about the focussing problem, during the early hours of this morning, whilst cleaning my teeth. Have you inadvertently disturbed your personal 'Viewfinder Dioptre' setting on your camera?. This has often caused me problems in the past, I think that I disturb it whilst attaching and removing an Angled Finder. The Angled Finder has also caused problems because that has it's own adjustable 'Dioptre Setting' ring which is too easily disturbed. To combat that one, I have inscribed a graphite line on the cylindrical ferule and placed a small triangle of white tape to act as a pointer on the smaller inner tube portion for quick check purposes. Another problem that I have got wise to now, as a 'abnormal', whilst macro photographing, is low blood sugar, it takes a while during my confusion, I then realise that I can't focus properly even outside of the camera's viewfinder but I doubt that you, as a normal person would experience that one!

Stick a piece of red or black tape on your white fridge door, view and focus that through your viewfinder and re-set the 'Dioptre Setting' slider, as per the 'Instruction Manual', it works for me! I often have to re-set the slider, I should mark that I suppose! Sorry for the monologue.
