Red Admiral - Preston, England - Spring.

Photo Information
First hour out with my 2nd hand ist D, snapped with an old manual Ricoh 60-300mm. Metering wasn't working at time, as not uploaded later firmware for 'green button' stop down of aperture, so F4 I think. But pleased as this was 10 foot up on a branch with no stabilisation.

Nice shot, Edward.

BTW, it's a Peacock, not a Red Admiral!

Cracking capture under the circumstances, I couldn't get anywhere near this, very nice

You've done extremely well with this considering the situation. Lovely shot.
