Grasmere Calm (2)

OK, so I've uploaded a version of this shot before. It is my very first Infra-red shot and the first attempt at processing it was too dark and robbed some details from the dark areas. I've been practicing and now think I've got the hang of the conversion process. Hope this one works better. Once again, I would suggest this is viewed large.

it seems having worked well, and this version seems better, David, .. even though IMHO previous version is OK too

Plenty of sharp detail for long exposure must have been perfect conditions, I always think it very important in shots like this to be able to see the stones in the water as you have here - not sure why, a quality measurement I think

Nice re-make. I prefer this version, the dark areas aren't totally black they have some textures. You've done a great job.

Agree with all the above, that water is so smooth and silky.
