The Village In Mono.

by pauljay

I uploaded a similar photo from the K-5 a few months ago but at the same time I was shooting on Fomapan film using a Pentax Spotmatic ll with a Pentacon 50mm/f1.8 lens. This shot is straight off the scanner with no adjustments at all and really shows just how good the lens is. Certainly one which will get further use.

A classic scene using classic equipment. Well done, Paul.
Best wishes,

I do like this and the previous upload, it's hard to choose between the two, smashing lens too, was it an expensive one? if you don't mind me asking

Thanks for the feedback everybody. Maria, I can't actually remember where the lens came from but I think I can safely say that it came attached to a screw thread body that I purchased at sometime.
