Cumulo-nimbus - HDR

by davidstorm

This is a different version of a picture I uploaded a day or two ago. I felt that the subject would benefit from HDR treatment, so I've played around a bit with HDR and Tone Mapping and I am pleased with the results. I think it brings this particular scene to life. I will use it sparingly, but for some pictures it seems to be well worth experimenting with.

The cloud is stunning David. Beautifully done but the land area looks distinctly flat in comparison however the photo is all about the cloud.

Nice shot, David. I like the well balanced lights, every part of this pic is well lit. Well taken shot.

I much prefer this to the original, which I thought was a bit flat. This has much better contrast and shows more detail.
