Well caught Cliff. The train is pinsharp but the foliage and rails seem blurred - did you zoom during exposure to create a pan effect?

Hi David, Just straight forward panning, no time for messing about zooming as she was moving quite a bit. The shutter speed was 1/180 sec for the shot (god knows why the exif data says 1111/200000 sec!) and because of poor lightI had to use an ISO of 800 to get that.

Are you kidding us though? I did not know that panning was effective when so "head-on".
I thought it looked like a "selective blurring" in PSE or the like.
