We travelled on Tuesday 7th August and this shot was taken on the way back to Portmadoc on the 12:50 train.
I had a long chat with a volunteer who did the 'oiling the linkages' job a Blaenau and he pointed out that this loco was only completed in 2010 but from original plans found at Waterloo. Incidentally coach 121 we travelled in was built THIS year !
