This car managed 120 Mph on the drag strip, beleive it or not! I think he concentrated on the engine before the body work

Your choice of 1/250 shutter priority was a good compromise, allowing a reasonable amount of 'panning' effect. Works well for me.

The track seems shiny, judging by the reflections. Was it wet? Can one run a drag race on a wet strip???

Taffy, the track was bone dry but I assume covered in rubber and worn smooth by all the cars racing down the 1/4 mile strip. At least that what I think it was, not really an expert so just guessing

Was lucky with the angle of the sun though, it gave me a nice reflection.
