Early morning light at Towanroath Engine House in the Wheal Coates tin mining area. This vista leads towards Tubby's Head & Carn Gowla headlands.

The mines are within the North Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Thanks very much David It is such a dramatic location, with an industrial history that is almost palpable. I wanted to try and convey the confluence of raw Atlantic power, nice light, human endeavour & juxtaposition of scales; as well as how nature carries on amidst the near constant winds, salinity and the spoils of industry.
