Scarborough Steamer 2

Photo Information
Seen before in mono, Ex LMS 4-6-2 No. 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' opens up as the signal clears, on the approach to the old Rotherham station.

This was taken almost 3 years ago on 21st July 2007, as she passed by with a day-trip from London to Scarborough.

This is the same location as my 'First Great Western' shot, shown here a few days ago. It was lucky that it was an overcast day, or I would have had sun straight down the lens barrel.

Taken with K10D+18-55 as a PEF.

Just a pity about the Southern coaches.

Take a look at the earlier mono shot and you can imagine they are maroon!

Oh Paul, you are such a hard man to please!
