On Saturday it was speeding up the West Coast Mainline to Carlisle and then back to Birmingham via the Settle and Carlisle Railway.
Here it is charging through Oxenholme, near Kendal.

Cracking shot, would like to see the overhead cabling done away with though but certainly not a criticism.
The overhead cables are aesthetically annoying but they are part the railway scene so I've learned to live with them.
As Froggy has demonstrated elsewhere in The Gallery there are locations where you can photograph steam trains without overhead wires.
