or blossom fly; I don't know their English names).

Bees have longer antennae and two sets of wings.
Judging by your lovely picture Maria the wings look to be those of a fly - can't tell you which one without seeing the original image though I'm afraid. Not that it really matters as far as your photo is concerned.

Thanks so much for the info Charlotte and for your comment, so what i have been calling Bees all these years have actually been flies
