Fox Holes, Kinder Ridge

Photo Information
I spotted this unusual rock formation while walking the Kinder Ridges on Sunday. It isn't named on the OS map but is in an area called Fox Holes near to Grindslow Knoll. It reminded me of a minature Salt Cellar ( I uploaded a shot of this from Derwent Edge a while back). Lose Hill is visible in the distance.

I like the browns, beiges and pale golds that contrast with the sky. Lovely dramatic shot.

Nice foreground with this rock-mushroom. It looks like those pillars inside harbours (at docks) to fix ropes. I like this photo.

That rock makes a brilliant bit of foreground interest, always at a premium in the mountains!
