Putting this up after a lot of hesitation, this was a tiny plant- about 3 inches only! This was interesting, because my compact camera (non-Pentax) just couldn't focus on the plant! Comments about the pic are most welcome!

Nice composition Ravi, you fitted the subject nicely to the frame.
It is called to 'nettle flower' by the vernacular in Hungary, because it has similar leaf to the nettle's one. I din't know that it has such beauty blossom before you uploaded it.

I think this is rather good too. The main bloom really jumps out against the dark background. Nicely done

Hi Folks! Thanks for the kind comments! Nettle flower! OK. The leaves have so much texture in them, I take a photo almost every morning when I see them I was hesitant to post because even though I used F8, the top right is not as sharp, but thanks, appreciate the comments. Rgds
