"In a photographic context I don't like the use of the word 'shot' as where I live this word refers to an extreme act of violence and not the beautiful craft of photography"
Looks like the place has been taken over by giant Anacondas

Best regards
Peter
Remember the swamp in the Flash Gordon film? This is it

Many thanks Peter 😊 Was glad of the company of a couple of friends on this visit in the liminal hour! It's air of wildness is particularly palpable in the late twilight, when alone in that wood... the German word Waldeinsamkeit sums it up well 😊

We stopped for lunch in a wood similar to that when walking on Dartmoor. You have captured the essence of the place perfectly. I was glad to move on.
Many thanks David

I'm sure I saw a gossamer wing briefly display itself from behind one of those limbs! Gorgeous shot!
Thanks very much Paul
