Not the Pennsylvania 6-5-thousand

by Iam1of2

Original image modified in Topaz Simplify to accent the lines and detail. Don't often do this, but I think the end result justified the post processing in an interesting image. Hope you like it and would love your comments.

Very promising shot, with lots of interest for me but, to be truthful, these filters were cool for about five minutes back in the nineties and this one in particular doesn't do your picture any favours.

You did ask... others may well feel differently.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Awesome shot but I do agree, tad too much of Topaz goodness. If you have their other plugins, Topaz Clean, subtle accents on the edges only (edge boost at 1 , with low radius) could potentially give you those clear cut lines without hiding the beauty of the photograph underneath. Love the setting and the colors.

Beautiful and useful filter(s)....but these nice effects are lovely just for a few minutes. This doesn't mean you/we have not to use this kind of pp...but..but..."The less the Better", IMHO

Such effects are interesting once in a while but you can quickly become sick of them! It has worked well here but it would be nice to see the original!
